As Poker Runs go, it used to be, as one got to a checkpoint, the rider would pull a playing card from a. And determines where the checkpoint worker will punch the envelope. Poker runs have grown in. My dream: Cut out the label middleman and print directly onto the card itself.
Now, keep in mind that I already have stacks of individual cards. I know that I can get sheets of perforated cards to print on. I know that I can print on card stock and cut them out and round the corners. I know that I can just print on plain paper, cut up the slips and drop them in sleeves with Magic cards.
What I want is to print directly onto the blank cards I already own.
Now, my printer seems to have no problem with the card stock or the printing surface itself. If I stick a bunch of these cards to a sheet of paper and run it through the printer, that can work, but I'd rather avoid the extra effort of mounting and un-mounting the cards on the paper.
The problem is simply that the printer refuses to accept a paper size as small as 3.5' by 2.5'. The smallest it will go is 3.5' by 5' (two cards side by side). I've tried dropping in two cards side by side; it only grabs the one on the right and then gives me an error message.
My printer is a Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mark II (http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/printers_mul...).
Am I on a fool's errand? Is this just not possible? Can other printers do this?
Any guidance would be appreciated!

I've played Time's Up: Title Recall a lot and I wanted to make my own updated set of about 1,000 cards with pop culture cards that the original game didn't include.

Anybody have any suggestions for card stock or ways to go about this?
I'm not looking to make anything high quality, but I'd like to at least make the set nice. I've printed off at CopyMax before on their card stock, but they only have a selection of one and it's alright.
P.S. I'm aware of the new kickstarter game Monikers that's kind of an updated version of Time's Up: Title Recall, but I didn't like how they don't have as many cards as the original.
